Maria-Lisa worked in various private clinic settings and is now proud to provide assessments and therapy for children at West Island Speech Therapy. Her professional interests include early language development, parent coaching, speech sound disorders, stuttering, and literacy. Maria-Lisa is a certified member of both OOAQ and SAC, and is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalized care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Maria-Lisa is also enthusiastic about supervising specialized educators and collaborating closely with daycare professionals and families to create supportive, developmentally enriching environments for children in their everyday lives.

Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Studies from Concordia University and has been an early childhood educator since 2005. In 2019, she began specializing in working with children with special needs, collaborating with various specialists. To further her expertise, she recently completed a DEC in Special Care Counselling at Vanier College.

Amanda is dedicated to creating individualized education plans and fostering an engaging, supportive environment to help all children achieve their full potential.

Elyse proudly completed Special Care Counselling at Vanier College and went on to graduate from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in Child Studies, focusing on early childhood development.

With nearly a decade of experience in specialized settings, she brings a strong foundation in working with children to her role at West Island Speech Therapy.

Known for her patient and playful approach, Elyse believes in celebrating every step forward! She’s ready to welcome you with a smile and support your children as they work toward their goals!

Intervention in daycare settings

How can we help you?

Children with persistent and significant difficulties are eligible to receive government funding to help them integrate into the daycare setting. This funding can be used towards the services of a specialist. We are available to provide therapy in daycare settings.
